Fine Points: |
If books are to be included in the packing of your possessions, a separate carton, called a Book or a 1.5 cubic foot Carton, should be used. Books are heavy and if packed with other possessions, especially fragile items, damage can occur or the carton could be too heavy for one man to carry. If the carton is too heavy for one man to carry, a second man must be used which slows down the process, or the mover can request the carton be repacked into two or more cartons.
Normally twenty books should be sufficient to fill a book carton. This depends upon the size and weight of the books being packed. |
